IMPROVING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS IN SCHOOLS 

We provide education and support to teachers, pupils and parents/guardians on a range of topics related to mental health and how to promote mental well-being.

We equip teachers with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support pupils with their mental well-being, as well as helping them to develop coping strategies to take care of themselves. 

All our sessions are delivered by qualified Trainers, Mental Health Nurses and Counsellors.

We offer sessions on a variety of topics listed below.

This session introduces you to Evolving Mindset and what can be expected from each section of the programme. We will give support and guidance through each step of the process, ensuring that you never feel you are on your own.

Low Self-Esteem & Building Resilience

People who suffer from low self-esteem often have a poor image of themselves and may believe no-one likes them and that they are unlovable.  These beliefs often come from strong messages in childhood, maybe by being shamed, ridiculed, put-down, or maybe from being abused.

Mental Health has long been a taboo subject, with people 'hiding' how they are truly feeling, because they don't want to appear weak.

We want to help you along this often difficult process, by empowering you to make changes in your everyday life and to help maintain your well-being.

Mindfulness & Relaxation

Mindfulness is an integrative, mind-body based approach that helps to manage your thoughts, feelings and mental health in a more positive way, guiding your awareness to the present moment.

Stress & Anxiety Management

Stress can be defined as the degree to which you feel unable to cope as a result of pressures that are unmanageable.

What contributes to stress differs according to circumstances, the environment we live in and our genetics.

Physical Well-being & Positive Habits

We want to support you through education to understand how to incorporate good physical well-being into your daily life, in order to support your mental well-being. We will also support you in creating positive and sustainable habits for you to set you up for long term success in this area.
