WORKING TO IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH IN THE COMMUNITY
We have developed a FREE and confidential community mental health programme, aimed to engage, educate and empower you, by focusing on your mental well-being.
Our sessions run from various locations within the Merseyside area, and are designed to raise awareness and provide education on a range of topics related to mental health, and how to promote your mental well-being.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have had to postpone our upcoming face-to-face sessions. These will be rescheduled as soon as we are able to do so. Until then we are offering Zoom sessions online.

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS
Â
Mindset & Goal Setting

This session introduces you to Evolving Mindset and what can be expected from each section of the programme. We will give support and guidance through each step of the process, ensuring that you never feel you are on your own.

Stress & Anxiety Management
Stress can be defined as the degree to which you feel unable to cope as a result of pressures that are unmanageable.

What contributes to stress differs according to circumstances, the environment we live in and our genetics.
Mindfulness & Relaxation

Mindfulness is an integrative, mind-body based approach that helps to manage your thoughts, feelings and mental health in a more positive way, guiding your awareness to the present moment.

Loss & Relationship Breakdown
When relationships come to an end it can be one of the most difficult times in our lives. It may seem impossible to find a way to ease the hurt and suffering. Endings come in a variety of ways; the ending of a relationship, friendships and family members.

Addiction

Addiction is not having control over doing, taking or using something to the point where it could be harmful to you. If you have an addiction, you're not alone. According to the Charity Action on Addiction, 1 in 3 people are addicted to something.

Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health has long been a taboo subject, with people 'hiding' how they are truly feeling, because they don't want to appear weak.
We want to help you along this often difficult process, by empowering you to make changes in your everyday life and to help maintain your well-being.
Low Self-Esteem & Building Resilience
People who suffer from low self-esteem often have a poor image of themselves and may believe no-one likes them and that they are unlovable. These beliefs often come from strong messages in childhood, maybe by being shamed, ridiculed, put-down, or maybe from being abused.
Financial Well-being

Problem debt and mental health very often go hand in hand.
Debt can affect your Mental Health, but on the flip side of this, your mental health may mean you struggle to manage your money.

Physical Well-being & Positive Habits
We want to support you through education to understand how to incorporate good physical well-being into your daily life, in order to support your mental well-being. We will also support you in creating positive and sustainable habits for you to set you up for long term success in this area.
